About the Journal

Jurnal Keluarga Berencana is one of the journals managed by Jurnal Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana, the Center for Research and Development of Population and Family Planning (BKKBN Central), first published in April 2016.  Jurnal Keluarga Berencana is an online scientific journal publishing research articles in the field of social sciences.

Previously known as Jurnal Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana, Jurnal Keluarga Berencana was initially published manually/print on paper since 2007. With technological advancements, Jurnal Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana transitioned to online publication using the Open Journal System (OJS) under the name Family Planning Journal.

The aim of Jurnal Keluarga Berencana is to enhance the National and International Population, Family Development, and Family Planning (Bangga Kencana) programs.

Jurnal Keluarga Berencana is a scientific journal with open access, peer-review, and multidisciplinary. Each issue contains primary research, articles, reviews, data analysis, and relevant literature studies related to population, family development, and family planning programs. Additionally, Jurnal Keluarga Berencana also provides opportunities for authors to submit policy briefs and policy papers in each issue, thus expanding its scope beyond being a platform solely for publishing scientific articles, but also facilitating discussions on policies and issues related to family planning.
